Kathikas is one of the most attractive villages in the area, well known for its great many vineyards, grapes being its main product and their cultivation the main occupation of the villagers.
It is a traditional village with very Cypriot character. Located on a vine - covered hill midway between Paphos and Polis, it provides an easy access to Paphos, Coral Bay with its well-known sandy beach, Polis and the small seaside resort of Latchi, Baths of Aphrodite as well as Lara Bay (Akamas) with the turtle hatchery.
Life revolves around the square with its tavernas, coffee shop and supermarket.
